The History of Creation

• Time As We Know It

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As created beings we have a beginning, unlike God who has always been. This key fact is hard for our earthly reasoning to understand. In turn due to us having a day that we were given life and brought into existence. In short I can tell you what I know, this isn’t GOD’s first time creating and giving life. If you think the time and space we currently live in are His one and only production, well you’re sadly mistaken. Just as the man job from in the Bible, when he questioned the Creator Himself. GOD told him kindly and truthfully the answer we should know when our earthly minds question creation itself.

GOD said: “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

‭‭Job‬ ‭38‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If you look at the universe as we understand it in present time with the advancement of space technology and telescopes reaching further beyond than ever before, you will see something that you can’t explain or put limits on. Some will say we happen by chance or the ever so popular phrase “can we really even know if there is a God”. When we hear these words spoken by some we must understand that those who speak these things in reality are placing limits on The Creator Himself.

Around four to six thousand years ago the descendants of Adam and Eve walked the earth as did Noah in the later. Then the flood came due to darkness filling the people of the world. Noah held close to his faith in the one God whom gives life. As years pass from generation to generation so do stories of the past. The people of Israel held to the knowledge of God, writing and documenting the history of the past. If you look closely you will see a people who GOD directly inspired and spoke through. I ask you to take a look into the past and you will see the future with clarity.

The Command That Started it All

• It’s Hard To See In The Dark

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Picture this, you walk into a room ready to begin work. Whats the first thing you do? You “turn the light on” not because you’re afraid of the dark but because when you can see it’s much easier to work and it helps you see the fine details of exactly what you’re working on. We can see God doing the same thing here in the beginning of this universe as we call it. Yes some may say this is just using the word “light” in a visual sense. I myself find that when God speaks it more vast than we can truly comprehend.

We must remember we’re in a fallen world, a world that He placed the ones who rebelled in heaven and caused hurt and division. So with knowing that we can trace it back to when God began this segment in time. In the darkness He called for Light. This place in time was meant to bring glory to GOD, for His righteousness, for His grace and for His mercy. He knew the name of every last soul who was destined for this place. There are no surprises to Him. He set the foundations for the future and for the past.

We all wonder silently in our mind, “why is this world so complex” or “why does this world seem so confused“. Well if we look at the history of time made available to us in the scriptures we can put the words in order. God knew of the darkness growing in the hearts of some in heaven before it all happened. He knew something would take seed in creation to bring confusion and chaos. As He gave us all here on earth free will, so did He those in heaven. The real question at hand is one we must ask ourselves….. will we stand up for the truth of what’s truly right. Inside of us is the hope and the framework to trust GOD and who He is.

This may scare us somewhat when we look at the bigger picture of this part of creation. That God has thrown down to earth the spirits that denied Him and His goodness. As we must know like it is written in scripture they too will be judged on that final day. We are in a position where we can choose life or death on this earth. He wouldn’t place you somewhere in harms way, He placed you here to learn of not only His un-measurable greatness but also His unending love. So like GOD command in the very beginning of this time and space we should do in our hearts. He is at the door telling you “Let There Be Light”

Day 2: His Design

Genesis 1:6

“Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.””

‭‭

The Master's Plan

In Genesis 1:6 The second day begins. On this day is when GOD lays the foundation of the firmament, creating the structure that separates what God calls the waters above from the waters below. This is the borders of the expanse. Where He speaks light into the darkness drawing its lines.

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-8

“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.”

‭‭

The Blueprint

Firmament

The use of the term (firmament) over the years has had many variations of its true meaning and the extent of its definition. "Firmament" is translated from the Hebrew raqiya, which is derived from raqa which means "to spread abroad, stamp or stretch." Raqiya means "an expanse."

Boundaries

As we take a closer look into the depths of the areas made known to us by God's word, we can see one recurring trait. That is “structure“ and by definition it means to construct or arrange according to a plan; give a pattern or organization to. We also know all structures that are built must have a firm foundation to rest on. The foundation being GOD and His word of truth. Knowing that in Him is no darkness nor evil as some call it. A set of boundaries have been placed because darkness has no place in the presence of God.

Day 3: The Earth

“And God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭

“God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭

“And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭

“And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬

Day 4: The Lights

“And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬ ‭

“and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭15‬ ‭

“And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭

“And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭

“And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭19‬ ‭

Day 5: Air & Sea Life

“And God said, 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭

“And God blessed them, saying, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth'. And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭
